Present Tense

3. Present Perfect Tense

  • I have finished my homework.
  • She has traveled to London.
  • They have played the game.
  • We have watched that movie.
  • He has cooked dinner.

4. Present Perfect Continuous Tense

  • She has been reading for two hours.
  • I have been working on this project.
  • They have been playing since morning.
  • We have been waiting for you.
  • He has been cooking for an hour.

Past Tense

1. Simple Past Tense

  • He wrote a letter.
  • They played football yesterday.
  • The sun set in the west.
  • She danced gracefully.
  • We drank coffee in the evening.

2. Past Continuous Tense

  • She was reading a book.
  • They were playing in the park.
  • I was writing a letter.
  • We were watching a movie.

3. Past Perfect Tense

  • I had finished my homework before dinner.
  • She had traveled to London by then.
  • They had played the game before it rained.

4. Past Perfect Continuous Tense

  • She had been reading for two hours when he arrived.
  • I had been working on this project for months.
  • They had been playing since morning before it started raining.
  • We had been waiting for you for an hour.
  • He had been cooking for an hour before we came home.

Future Tense

2. Future Continuous Tense

3. Future Perfect Tense

4. Future Perfect Continuous Tense
